Budo Musashi Multi Martial Arts Club 

                 

 Budo Musashi is a small multi martial arts club. The martial arts taught at our weekly classes at Stoke Damerel Parish Centre are Aikido, Aiki Jujitsu and Bukido (Japanese weapons).
The club is run by Chief Instructor John Piket. Budo Society Musashi started in 1990 in the Netherlands. After John got a job as an Exchange Officer in the Royal Navy In 2003, he started with Budo Society Musashi in England, at HMS Collingwood in Fareham.
In 2007, John retired from the Navy, after 33 years of service, and Budo Society Musashi was relocated to Plymouth, where John lives.
Besides running Budo Society Musashi, John teaches also Self Defence at HMS Raleigh, HMS Drake and the Naval College in Dartmouth.
John travels on a regular basis to Holland and Germany to teach and run courses.
Students of John are welcomed to join him on his travels and train with other instructors.
 
Once a month a special weekend class in which Aiki Jujitsu is taught for a very small group of people. Also once a month a class is run for people who live further away and therefore can’t attend the weekday classes.

8th Degree Black Belt in Aiki Jujitsu
8th Degree Black Belt in Ju Jujitsu
5th Degree Black Belt in Aikido
Master Instructor in Kyusho Jitsu and Dim Mak (pressure point fighting)
 
Class times
Monday               8 pm – 9.30 pm Aikido/Aiki Jujitsu
Thursday             8 pm – 9.30 pm Aikido/Aiki Jujitsu
 
Once a month a weekend, both days 12 pm – 4 pm
Once a month on Saturday 1 pm – 5 pm
 
During all those classes, Bukido is taught as well as Kyusho Jitsu.
